Hello friends and family!

Lots of Stuff Getting Done

We’ve been hard at work down here in the Sunshine State. Joel has spent the last few months working hard on preparing the property for Boot Camp and for our annual 5k Mud Run fundraiser.

Joel has worked on the tent sites, clearing trees, brush and other safety hazards. The tent sites for our summer mission trips have never looked more clear. We’re excited for each team that will be moving in and being trained to go overseas and make a difference this summer. At the Mud Run, Joel served by helping with parking and I managed the media team and took pictures. The money raised from this event goes directly to people who are in need around the world.

I have been working on Teen Missions programs and websites. I am a part of a team that is looking through Teen Missions programs to evaluate and update curriculum and training materials. This has been a very rewarding and challenging job.

The website has been a huge job, and we’re so excited that the shiny new home page and trips pages are live.

Intern Being Sent Out

For the past three years, Lane has worked in the Marketing and Productions Department with me. When Lane started at Sojourner School of Ministry, she was shy and quiet. It has been awesome to watch God grow her in her spiritual confidence and maturity. After three years of discipleship and growth, we’re so proud of the woman she has become. Lane is going to be serving at Teen Missions Australia for the next year. She has become a confident and capable young woman, who is going to make a huge difference wherever she goes. We praise God that we get to be a part of what He is doing!

What’s Happening This Summer?

We will be leading a team this summer to the Philippines. We couldn’t be more excited! Our team will focus on pouring a concrete driveway for our base in the Philippines. We also may get the opportunity to work with Philippino teens who are going through their mission trip program.

The summer mission trips are our most exciting time of the year. We are so excited to be impacting youth this summer. We can’t wait to see, and share all that God will do!

Fall Partnership Trip

This fall, we will be taking extended time off to work on partnership development. We plan on traveling throughout multiple states and setting up appointments to share our mission and vision with individuals and churches. Would you be interested in getting together and talking about what God is doing and how you can partner with us? We’d love to hear from you and make a stop at your house on our road trip.
