Robert & Dorah Yoder Newsletter (Winter 2021)

Greetings in Jesus Name!

We hope and trust the Lord is keeping you all safe in the midst of this storm. As for us, the Lord is watching over us. Our last term of Bible school ended well and we had our  first wedding between a member of staff and a graduate. We did not have Boot Camp this year, but we had two students graduate and two commissioned and we really thank God.

December 23rd, on Robert’s birthday, we embarked on a road journey to Zambia to renew our visas. It has been quite an adventure, but Jesus is the center of it all. Before we got to Zambia, we went to Teen Missions Zimbabwe and on our way to the base, we found their main river had flooded due to heavy rains, so we had to sleep for an hour before we could cross. This was already Christmas day and about 2 AM; anyway, after an hour we were able to cross and we made it safely to the base to deliver their packages.

Robert slept for an hour, we took showers and by 5AM we were on the road to Zambia via Victoria Falls road. By 2PM we were in Zambia and spent three nights in Livingston, then on to Lusaka.

We submitted our papers on January 6th, but Robert was told he can’t be helped unless he has a valid permit for Zambia so now we have applied for a spouse permit; hopefully it will be out soon, then we can submit the papers to the South African Embassy. We believe God is in control.

We have spent some time with family and mostly we have been at the base in Ndola. We have been teaching our kids via WhatsApp, but February 15th schools are opening.

Let’s continue praying for each other because we believe there is power in prayer and there is no distance. Finally, all us to extend our gratitude to you, all our family, our friends and our supporters! Your generosity is what has even made it possible for us to travel and do all the visa processes and other things.  We really appreciate your support and we pray may God replenish where it comes from and may you not lack any good thing as long as the Lord liveth. We love you, we pray for you, and we look forward to seeing you one day. God bless you.

Prayer Requests.

  • Pray for health.
  • Pray for new circuit rider locations.
  • Pray for Robert’s visa.
  • Pray that those who are supposed to come for BMW would come
  • Pray for revival in South Africa.

May God Bless you and Keep you.

Robert, Dorah, Esther, Ethan, and Elisha
