Robert & Dorah Yoder Newsletter (Winter 2025)

Greetings and Happy New Year to you, our Beloved Family and Friends!

We pray and trust that you are all well by the special grace of the Almighty God. We are so thankful that we all made it to 2025. Indeed, our God is good and His mercies endure forever. We are still learning and adjusting to the culture and everything here in America. It has been a great time also for us to grow more in our walk with the Lord.

Last year, in September, we celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with a trip to Apalachicola, Florida. It was nice to be able to get away and reflect and pray. Our children stayed at Grandma and Grandpa’s place and had fun with their cousins.

In November we took a trip up to Kentucky where Dorah and Esther had an opportunity to attend a Victorious Women’s Conference. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. We spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with our family and we are thankful to God for seeing us thus far and for many other things He has done for us as a family.

At Teen Missions we continue to be busy. I enjoy my work with the maintenance crew, and Dorah helps with the Conference Center and wherever needed.

We have continued to homeschool our children and it is going well, and they like it. Esther is in 8th grade but also doing some 9th grade work as well. Ethan is in 7th grade and Elisha in 3rd grade.

This year we have been given an opportunity to lead a summer team to Tanzania. The team will be involved in providing eyecare services and basic medical assistance along with some small work projects. They will also have the opportunity to share the Gospel using some of the skills they will learn at Boot Camp like dramas, puppets, and music. We are excited to see how the Lord will use us all as a team.

Esther is registered to go on the Thailand team. Her team will be sharing the Gospel through sports evangelism. They will also be assisting with a four-day VBS-type camp, as well as doing various work projects for local children’s homes. Thank you for the donations towards her trip.

Since we will be leading the Tanzania Team with Teen Missions this summer, Ethan and Elisha will go with us as leaders’ children. They are excited to go to Tanzania for the first time. We will need to raise $7,800.00 to cover their cost. If you would like to help the boys come with us to Tanzania we would appreciate the help. Boot Camp starts on June 17th which is 10 days of training. Commissioning is on June 28th and then we will travel to our project site. Our team ends with four days of Debrief where some of the teams come together to prepare the teens to go home. Our summer ends on July 25th when the teens return to their homes.

We want to thank you so much for the support you keep rendering to us be it in prayers, financial and physical. We are so grateful to God for bringing you into our lives. Surely you have made serving the Lord a joy for us. May God bless you and all you lay your hands on in this new year.

Prayer Requests:
