Sarah Evans Newsletter (Spring 2021)

Dear Friends and Family,

Praying God’s blessings over you! I began this year by going to the Cracker Barrel and enjoying coffee and the fireplace. I had time to reflect on God’s goodness. I love the fellowship  I have with other people who are involved with Teen Missions, whether it’s having a good conversation or going out to eat, time spent with others is cherished.

We had a TMI yard sale and I got to help with that event. The yard sale is a great way to raise money for the ministry. During work we re-paved the concrete that is under the Big Top tent that we use for our summer Boot Camp. We also have been doing other projects to prepare for Boot Camp, such as clearing the tent sites and putting the maze together.

I am now in charge of the Literature Warehouse, which means my job is to prepare literature for overseas Boot Camps and the Florida Boot Camp as well. I was privileged to go on four trips to volunteer at homeschool conferences. We traveled to Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, and Alabama.  We cared for the children at the conferences. I even danced to a puppet show. I worked with the fours and five year olds, and also the six and seven year olds.  Such a wonderful ministry time.

During freetime on weekends, I volunteer at a therapeutic horse farm. I also get to volunteer at the local hospital. Volunteering is such a blessing to me. This spring I went to a Bible study with women from my church. It’s always nice to make new friends. My church also has a worship night once a month which I enjoy.

Please be praying for TMI and the upcoming summer—for God’s hand to be in all that we do. I am going to be an assistant leader on the Honduras Preteen team. So yay, I am going back! Feel free to write me letters and send in prayer requests. I would love to hear from you. Thanks so much for all your prayers and support. The Lord is changing my life daily. I am learning about forgiveness, mercy, and grace. Thank the Lord for His faithfulness and mercy.

A verse from my women’s Bible study: “Count yourself lucky, how happy you must be–you get a fresh start, your slate is wiped clean.” Psalms 32:1

In Christ,

Sarah Evans
