TEEN MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL

Bolivia Team travel update:

We celebrated with a farewell party at our missionary contact, Mr. Ferney’s house on Fri night. We then loaded a bus with all 24 checked bags plus 24 carry on bags and made it to the airport at about 10:30pm. But alas, the Lord’s timing is perfect and our plane was turned around before arriving in Bolivia because of issues, resulting in us not having a flight. Avianca Airline then booked us flights to leave today (Sunday) on Flight AV 166 to Bogata, Colombia. From there we are being put up in a 5-star hotel until an early morning flight (AV 216) on Monday morning headed for Orlando. I believe we’ll get into Orlando around 2:30pm on Monday. If the flights go as planned, parents can expect calls home once we arrive in Orlando that afternoon. We are being given breakfast, lunch, dinner, and breakfast vouchers from the airline as well as each person receiving $395 toward future Avianca flights to be used by Dec.

We slept fitfully off and on through the night all together in a designated area but praise God we still had all of our luggage, so we pulled out sleeping bags and blankets. And some even had sleeping pads. They are getting ample opportunities to spend the last of their Bolivianos currency! They have great attitudes and I’m sure that the Lord will use them in this unexpected twist of events!

Please pray for the Lord to use us- we’re still on mission! Pray for flights to come through to Orlando. Serving the Lord is an adventure!
