Hello Friends and Family of the Iowa team!
The Iowa team has made it to the home stretch of Boot Camp! In just a few days the kids will be lighting their candles and rolling out to the Orlando International Airport.
The team is going on its final training day. The last day of classes. The next few days will be filled with preparation to go on the field. After today the team will have completed many different classes to prepare them for the field.
Today was also their last day on the Obstacle Course. Abby C. made a courageous jump for the rope that ended up leaving her soaked. The rest of the team made it completely over the slough unscathed. What a way to finish our Obstacle Course runs!
The Iowa team's spirit is staying high. They've become friends and are having a blast. The challenge now is to help them stop chatting and focus on the tasks at hand! Hahahaha!
The weather has been hot and humid, big surprise! But the kids are pushing past the heat and getting the job done.
Please pray with us as the team pushes ahead. Some big days are coming up. Please pray that the kids and leaders would stay focused, and that our pack out would go well.
