Hello from team Bolivia!

Hello from team Bolivia!

What an exciting and somewhat unexpected last two days we have had. All the team is doing well and we’re very thankful for that.

On Wednesday the team finished up their time on the worksite and had a good time doing it. Even though the project didn’t get completely finished, they did accomplish so much and we’re very proud of their hard work. To God be the glory!
On Thursday the team got up and we headed to Santa Cruz, about 1 1/2 hours away. We enjoyed having PIZZA for lunch and then beginning our souvenir shopping for the day. The kids were able to get so many cool things and I know they’re excited to show you all of it when they return home. The team was also able to visit two different malls and had a lot of fun there too.
Unfortunately on Thursday night, one of our girls, Bizzy S started to feel really sick and we had to take her to the hospital. We praise the Lord she is doing super good now! We know the team’s prayers and your prayers were holding her up.
Yesterday, Friday, the team got to do their sightseeing day at Guembe! It’s a really cool butterfly sanctuary, and they also have monkeys, tropical birds, and more! We also got to swim in some nice FREEZING cold pools. But it was super fun nevertheless.

Today the team is going to work on cleaning up and packing out! This afternoon the church we were working at is going to make lunch for us and then this evening we have one final presentation before driving to the airport and 10:30 PM.
The team is definitely feeling mixed emotions about today being our final day in Bolivia. Many of them are excited about coming back home, but they’re very sad to be leaving this place and all their new Bolivian friends.
