It is Wednesday at Boot Camp, and the training is winding down.

It has been amazing to witness our team be open and receptive to the Holy Spirit. He is working in their lives, breaking down barriers, and most of our team have said they are all in for Jesus! They are giving their burdens, struggles and personal wants/desires to the Lord, asking Him to replace it with His. One of our team members gave their life to the Lord a few nights ago after the evening rally. Praise the Lord! The team has bonded well, and we certainly feel like a family.

Health-wise everyone seems to be well. We, as leaders, encourage them to stay hydrated because it's hot and humid. We do have some that miss family, but that is expected. Thankfully, when someone is having a hard day, the team members come alongside them and give encouragement. This week in classes, they are learning dramas, puppets, mixing cement and carpentry to prepare for our work project in Peru. They continue to run the obstacle course each morning and have done very well sticking together as a team.

It's hard to believe in less than a week, Lord willing, we will be getting settled at our project site in Peru. Please continue praying for each of them, that they'll finish Boot Camp well and continue to have their hearts open to what the Lord has for them. Pray that they'll be encouraged and draw on the Lord's strength each day. Pray for us as their leaders, that we will do our best to seek the Lord's wisdom and guidance while leading them. Pray also that everyone will continue being healthy.
