Peru has finished the first half of Boot Camp training!

Peru has finished the first half of Boot Camp training! The days are going by fast, yet it seems like we've been here much longer. Our team has been through several work classes each day as well as music and evangelism. Each day starts early with a 5:30 am wake-up followed by running the Obstacle Course (OC). The team works well together, and they continually encourage each other. This helps those who have gotten wet going over the Slough and who are unsure about climbing Jacob's Ladder and the Wall. Our favorite part of the day seems to be evening rallies. The Holy Spirit's presence has been evident on our team and throughout Boot Camp. Many of our team members have expressed that they've never felt the Lord's presence so strongly. Praise the Lord!

Today (Sunday) we had our traditional Galilean Service at 6:15 am. It is outside around the back lake on the TMI property. While hearing the sermon, we also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise to start the day. The rest of today has been fairly relaxing. This evening we will enjoy pizza and milkshakes before going to the rally.

Please be praying for us as we begin the next half of our training and then prepare to pack out for Peru. Pray that the teams and leaders will continue to be open and receptive to the Lord and that the Peru team will continue to bond and be healthy. Please also remember that you can watch our evening rallies that stream live each evening on Teen Missions' YouTube page at 7 pm.

Here are a couple of testimonies from our team members:

"I have been a Christian my entire life, but never have I seen God work through so many teens. Not only are the activities fun, but the work projects are too. I have been so encouraged by the leaders, teammates, and friends. I would not change this summer for anything!" -Sylas

"This past week is one I'll never forget. I've been so encouraged and have met so many friends who have included me. The leaders are awesome, and my team is as well. I've seen the Lord work in so many ways." Josiah
