Peru team members have arrived...
They survived the first night in tents, although I don't know how well they slept with a rocket going off around 2 am (welcome to the Space Coast ????). Today is Orientation Day, so we are going through different classes that teach about Boot Camp and how we can make the most of this time the Lord has given us. We also went through a practice run of the Obstacle Course, and the team did well! Only a few of them got wet in the Slough, and everyone made it over the Wall! The team did well working together and encouraging each other, especially as they climbed over Jacob's Ladder, which is pretty tall. I'm sure there will be pictures posted on the Teen Missions website of our team, so be on the lookout!
Please keep us in your prayers, that we continue building team unity and that each one of us will be open and receptive to what the Lord has for us. It is a blessing to have the opportunity to lead your teens this summer. Thank you for entrusting your children in our care and for allowing them to take this step of faith to serve the Lord. I know He has great things prepared for Team Peru!
