We started off this week strong with a good ol’ site-seeing day!! Our team spent an hour and a half traveling on two buses and a ferry ride to Marstrand Island. The Island is a car-free, coastal tourist spot that had a historical 17th century stone fortress and beautiful hikes! When we got to the Island, we first walked up the steep hill and spent 2 hours touring Carlstens Fästning. We split up into our travel groups and learned about the interesting history of the prisoners that built the fort and the battles that were fought there. After the fort, we got fish and chips for lunch, enjoyed the shops, and some ice cream! Then we took a 30 minute hike to the back of the Island to a good beach spot where we enjoyed the scenery and the cool water! In finishing up our fun day, we walked back to the main town, got some pizza with delicious house sauce and made our way back to the YWAM base. Throughout the whole day it was awesome to see the testimony of our team to those who would ask about our group or even conversation that the team members would start with the shop keepers or motorcyclists. Continuing the work week on Tuesday, the team has done so much work on the roof! They took the tiles off, took off the tarps, stripped the old wood, replaced the wood and tarps, and are beginning to reframe and place the tiles back on. Our painting crew has also been doing the finishing details on the White House with some blue paint. We’re getting everything wrapped up and finishing up the final touches. Thursday is our full last day before we head to the airport Friday afternoon. We are so excited for a Love Feast that our missionaries want to host for us and we will be preforming our drama and a puppet song for them and their kids! We’re looking forward to the food, laughter, and time together! If flights and travel go as planned; we will be leaving from GOT Gothenburg, Sweden at 5:55 a.m. to CDG Paris, France (landing at 8:15 a.m). Once in Paris, we will have an 8 and a half hour layover. Our flight will then leave at 4:40 pm. After a 9 hr and 45 min flight, we will land in the MCO Orlando Int’l Airport, Saturday night at 8:25 p.m. We will give timely updates as we go! Some prayer requests: That we would finish well, Health and safety during travel,
That Debrief would be equipping and refreshing before ending our summer!

Brennan: We have been working on the roof of the dorm, which has been lots of fun. We also went to the coast on an island, and Ms. Maddi has been making the best food.
Justus: This place is really cool except for the gutter boards. Pray for the gutter boards
