Time is Flying and We Will be Soon!!

I can’t believe it’s already time for another report! And I also can’t believe we’re already over half way through our trip! 9/18 days done! In recent news, we finished up the primer and first coat of paint on the White House. They are starting the second coat soon. Additionally, the team working on the roof finished up yesterday (Tuesday) and today they have begun moving the tiles off the roof to help work on the structure of it. They are working so hard! We had a unique opportunity to host the camp in some team bonding games and we had a great time! We split up the team in 8 groups and the team members were so creative! They hosted a game of ladder ball, the dizzy game, the tarp challenge and a dice relay to name a few. It was awesome to get to interact with the Swedes! As we look ahead to the rest of the week, our team will be busy on those continued projects as well as hosting the camp. Our KP has been working hard as well to prep for our meals as we cook for around 170 people. All of the team members have been so willing to jump in and help with whatever need there is to get done. Our team also has a chance to do an outreach on Friday with the church we’ve been attending. Pray that we can get those details worked out and softened hearts! We are also looking forward to our site-seeing day that we will have Monday. God bless and thanks for checking in!
