Serving, Shopping, and Seeing Budapest

Hello to all! The kids are doing great, and continue to grow closer and closer as the days go on. On Monday, we started working. The team got to paint some things, as well as do some gardening projects. Mr. Robert was in charge of gardening, and Mr. Benjamin was in charge of painting. The kids worked very well together, and got most of the projects done. We also got the chance to go into the city that afternoon and explore Budapest. They did some shopping, and got to eat at McDonalds. In Europe, they use all paper products, so the kids were all talking about it. We then got ice cream and it was very good. We got to overlook the city on a lookout, it was such a breathtaking view. Many, many pictures were taken and some will be shown below. On Tuesday, the kids were able to get some laundry done, and have some free time. We got another chance to go shopping for a short time in the afternoon. This included some bus rides, as well as a short ferry ride. Today, Wednesday, we worked more this morning, served some SBs, and had some time for bath and laundry. The kids have also had the opportunity to be on KP (Kitchen Patrol) with the lady leaders. It’s been an awesome time to get to know them better, and they all work very hard. Yesterday, Simeon K. even made a delicious chocolate cake! We also are blessed to have a some musically talented kids, and we have a piano here, so music fills the building throughout the day. We praise the Lord for your kids and the blessing that they’ve been. We look forward to what God has for us the rest of our time here! Blessings!

“Hey guys, Micah here. We’ve completed our first English camp, and are now halfway through our work week. We’ve painted, gardened, and cleaned a church. It has been a really fun experience, and I can’t wait to start our next English camp. Also, the place we’re staying at is not fully meant for tall people.” -Micah T.

This week we have been doing a lot of work projects such as helping fix a church and some painting. We’ve been eating some very good food and I love Hungarian snacks. I can’t wait for our next kids camp next week. I love and miss you mom and dad.” -Eliza P.

“Hey y’all it’s me Rina. Last week I loved getting to teach English and the gospel to Hungarian children. God has shown me that his love never fails and that He is always supporting us especially when I can’t do it alone.”-Carina C.

“Hey y’all it’s me Zay Zay. This past week, the Lord has really been speaking to me in my devotions, and I’m very excited to see what the Lord will continue to teach me. Shout out to Albania.” -Isaiah M.

“Hello everyone at home, I hope all is well. Over here everything is going great. We’ve been teaching English, meeting people, and cleaning out a church. All of the kids were so nice which made the last day emotional for everyone. Right now we’re cleaning the church we’re going to use the next three weeks. God is really changing my life here and all of my team members. Our leaders are great and I’m so appreciative of all of them. I can’t wait to come home, but it’s been so fun here and the culture is great. I can already see the last day being so emotional.” -Finn S.
