We have almost spent a week in Germany...
After the first two days of some intense heat, the German weather has been very kind to us with most days having lows in the 50s and highs in the mid-70s. The team has been able to enjoy devotions, reading, and meal times under the shade of the trees that cover the Siloah property while enjoying fresh cherries from the many cherry trees scattered around.
On top of all these relaxed moments, the team has been busy working on the painting project. They have already cleaned, taped, primed, and painted the whole front and side of the building, and they are priming the back now! They’ve been working hard and doing a great job while also making great time.
Almost every night, the Siloah volunteers have invited the team to play Juggar (a medieval warrior game with foam weapons). Some of our team members have begun to show off some impressive skills! We have also had chances to play volleyball and even teach some volunteers some good old American football.
On Saturday, the team had a chance to walk to a supermarket about an hour away and experience shopping in another culture. They were able to buy snacks, drinks, and little trinkets while getting the chance to see the German countryside.
On Sunday, we were given the opportunity to lead a church service for some of the staff and volunteers at Siloah. There was worship, a drama, and a sermon given by Mr. Craig. After some Bible memory quizzing in the afternoon, we were invited to worship and fellowship with the volunteers and staff. We played games, ate German snacks, cooked bread dough on a stick over a fire and, of course, played Juggar.
God is moving in Germany and within our team! Thank you for your prayers and your continued support; we are excited to see what God has in store for the team in the coming days!

Germany is really cool and I could live here forever! It is a lot of fun, but I also can’t wait to see my friends and family again!

I have really been enjoying being able to worship with people my own age. Being able to see the culture of Germany and fellowshipping with the volunteers has been a blast. Miss you Family and happy early birthday to Kezi!
