This spring I will have the opportunity to serve in Yonkers, New York with Teen Missions International.

Yonkers is a culturally diverse and vibrant inner-city community located in the shadow of New York City. It faces challenges such as poverty, housing instability, homelessness, and under-resourced schools.

I will have the opportunity to serve in multiple ways. Our team’s work project will include renovating a school building that serves as a church and local ministry center. We will also have the opportunity to do evangelism with a local ministry that has been bringing God’s love, hope, and practical help to the heart of the city for almost 100 years. We will also be involved in Bible studies and special classes to help us to develop goals and spiritual maturity.
