Gain valuable leadership and ministry training as you serve at the Lord’s Boot Camp in Merritt Island, Florida. Continue your ministry high in the mountains at the Teen Missions base in the Philippines, near the village of Buenavista.

Ministry: After your one week of the Leader Development Boot Camp, you will assist the Teen Missions staff, students, and volunteers as they run the main Boot Camp program in Merritt Island, FL. Help teach music, puppets, and drama, judge the Obstacle Course or run cameras during the rallies. Whatever is necessary to help the 2023 Boot Camp be a success will be your opportunity to serve! At the Teen Missions Philippines base, your ministry will continue as you help with building a concrete culvert to improve the road onto the base. You will also serve alongside the Bible School students using storytelling, circle games, dramas, music, and one-on-one sharing during their Sunday school ministries.

Travel: After your Boot Camp project, you will fly from the Orlando International Airport to Dallas, Texas. From here, your next flight takes you across the Pacific Ocean and the International Date Line to Tokyo, Japan. A connecting flight will take you to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. From Manila you will have a short flight over the South China Sea to Butuan, followed by a short ride from the airport to the Teen Missions base.

Adventure: A day trip to an outer island for swimming, snorkeling, and a picnic will be enjoyed by all. On your way to Debrief, you will overnight in Manila and have the opportunity to shop at the markets for wood carvings, rattan baskets, hand-embroidered clothing, and t-shirts to take home as memories of your time in the Philippines.
