Mongolia is a vast, landlocked country in east Asia, known for its expansive grasslands, nomadic traditions, and the legacy of the Mongol Empire. The country’s history has been deeply influenced by Buddhism, particularly Tibetan Buddhism, but during the 20th century, communism led to the suppression of religious practices.

Buddhism has a rising influence; however, there is also a growing interest in Christianity, though it remains a small minority. There is a strong need for discipleship, church planting, and outreach, particularly in rural areas where traditional beliefs still dominate.

*Please note: Team projects and destinations for 2026 are currently in preliminary planning and may be subject to change.
