All Roads Lead to… ROME?!

Hello from the Italy team! We’re so excited for this report and to share that everything went well with finishing out Boot Camp. The three teams are safely in their locations and doing well evangelizing and sharing about teen missions. We had a wonderful commissioning service with them and it was lovely to be able to spend that final time together. On our last day in the teen mission base we spent time taking down and packing up and cleaning. It was a lot of work and we stayed very busy, but we were thankful for all we were able to help with. We then traveled by train from a city nearby Spinoso to Rome. It was fun for us to be able to take some trains and subways and buses to Rome and really enjoy our time traveling. Though a bit hectic at times we had a lot of fun and we praise God for the safety He gave us. We then stayed with our missionaries outside of Rome at their beautiful home. Today as I write this report we’ve just finished up all of our sightseeing in Rome. The team was able to see so many of the sites and really enjoy their time. They also got to eat lots of good pasta, try some fun gelato and some delicious coffee. Tomorrow will be our last day in Rome and we’re going to spend some time with our missionaries at their home. We’re excited to share some meals with them and to fellowship and just rest up before we begin traveling. Overall, the team is doing well. We’re a little hot and a little sweaty and a little sunburned but overall we’re doing well and we give all praise to God. We want to give a big shout out to our missionaries, Mimi and Diego and also Sara and Francesco. They are such a blessing to us and we’re so thankful for them. Here are some ways that you can pray for the team. Please pray for safety as we continue traveling and also for good health and for us to stay hydrated. We also ask that you’d be praying for Gospel centered conversations as we travel, and that we would be shining the light of Jesus, pray that all of our bags make it home safely, and that there would be no issues along the way with any of the travel.
