Back from the bush

We are officially done with the Wangabisha chapter of our trip! Monday and Tuesday the team ran two clinics at the Kapilikwa rescue unit. Both days were pretty steady, and the team members were able to help many people medically and lead several people to Christ! Monday, the clinic was cut short so the team could run a second clinic at the Wangabisha base that afternoon for members of the church that we attended Sunday. While it was nowhere near as busy as the morning’s clinic, they were still able to make a difference in several people’s lives. Tuesday was packout day! KP (Piper and Hope) did an amazing job baking both brownies and chocolate chip muffin cake, and helping to organize and pack up the kitchen. After the team got back from another busy day at clinic, everyone worked on gathering their belongings and preparing for the move back to Ndola. Wednesday called for an early wake up (5 am!) so we could load the bus and get started on our trip. On the way, we had the chance to visit a matron unit for a few minutes. Five hours later, we arrived safely at Ndola! The next few days we’ll be running two more clinics and preparing to leave for sightseeing. Please continue praying for all our clinics, and that the Lord will open the hearts of the people the team gets to treat.

As much as I miss home God really made this place beautiful. The clinics are super fun. From the kids calling me Benny to foot fungus. Still miss you mom and dad and love you. - Ben P.

Hey everyone! I am recovering from a mild cold other than that I am happy and content. We just made our journey back to Ndola. I am sad we are leaving the beautiful scenery of the bush. But I can’t wait for what the Lord has in store for us here in Ndola. I love you and can’t wait to see you so soon! - Geli R.

Hey guys, we just arrived in Ndola from the bush. We had such an amazing time in Wangabisha. We did so many clinics, so many people had the chance to be treated. It was such an amazing experience to be able to see the amazing power of God. I loved being able to play with the kids there and teach them the alphabet. Everyone was so nice; this has been so fun and what we have been doing here. - Audrie R.

The past 15ish days here in Zambia have been really amazing! There have been many challenges, but it has been 100% worth it! We have been able to put on nine clinics to help meet the people’s needs, but the coolest part is that every person that comes in we get to share the gospel with, and so many have chosen Jesus as their savior through that time! I have loved getting to serve in clinics and am excited for the last few coming up! - Ruth M.
