"He who saves his snacks has snacks” - Mr. Trey

Mulishani!! The Zambia team is loving being back at the Teen Missions Ndola base, seeing friendly faces from before we left for the bush and sleeping on mattresses has been a treat!! Today we attended a church service and as usual the team did a wonderful Sunday presentation! The church service ended with a birthday celebration for one of the members of the church, the team was very excited to be part of the celebration with sodas, cake + dancing! The past couple of days have been bittersweet as the we hosted our very last clinic right here from the base. It’s nice to be done with what we came here to do yet sad knowing our trip is coming to an end. After keeping track of each clinic and tallying up our totals, we are feeling so blessed to have had the opportunity to welcome about 680 patients (likely more as there were many families that came in under one name) into our clinics and have one on one gospel conversations with each of them! As we’ve reflected as a team each day after clinic, the common consensus is that we love the chance to meet people’s physical needs, yet the opportunity each team member got to have those one on one conversations about the gospel is a wonderful thing! Getting to a part of someone’s start to their walk with the Lord is such a neat experience. Medicine is what was bringing these people in and praise the Lord many of the left with so much more than that! Many accepted Jesus right then as their Lord and Savior and each one prayed over before they left the clinic! Watching the team so boldly share the gospel with each person they treated is so inspiring!! Tomorrow we will pack up and prepare for our long roadtrip to Livingston where we will begin our sightseeing and shopping! The team got a chance to grocery shop here in Zambia and find neat snacks to enjoy for the bus ride and to bring home to friends + family (the snacks are disappearing quicker than they had planned so don’t expect much lol)! The “w lunch ladies” are very glad to be back here in Ndola where the kitchen is no longer a tent but an actual building (so boujee)!! Bible study and GG’s have been also going so well, definitely a time we are going to miss, growing together in the Word is such a blessing! Thank y’all for all the prayers!!

“Hello everyone! We are back in Enola after holding several clinics out in Wabasha. It’s been really cool to see how God has used our team to help the people of Zambia. We’ve seen a lot of brokenness, but despite that the truth and light of Jesus has helped many past hopeless patients leave our clinics with joy. I’ve learned a lot and had so much fun with the kids here and while I’m sad the clinics are over. I’m pumped for the sightseeing, Moore cultural food, and the sleepless travel coming up!” - Rebekah H.

Hi friends and family! We are officially done with clinics and in summary, I gave a lot of piggybacks when on kids, gave a lot of fricks(cough drops) when on medical, and a lot of eyedrops when on eyeglasses. Most importantly, I’ve shared the gospel with them all, and God moved in many of their hearts to accept them! We had a great church service and also celebrated the Bishop‘s birthday. “Hey everyone! Zambia has been great! We had our last clinic yesterday and it has been cool to look back and see how God has worked through them and answered so many prayers. Being back in Enola and having showers and toilets has given me a lot to be thankful for. We also had the opportunity to go to a grocery store and get some Zambian snacks, which was cool. “Hi everyone! I’m having a lot of fun in Zambia! We had a bunch of clinics this week, and gave out many Fricks (cough drops). We are back at the base in Ndola, and have been re-acquainted with the staff kids. It’s been a week filled with ShopRite, ibuprofen, knife, dances, fútbal, and more. I’m sad that our time doing clinics is over, but I’m excited for sightseeing (although considerably less for the bus ride). Love y’all!!”- Piper M.

“To the fam: we just got done with our last clinic yesterday afternoon. It felt good to finally be done with what we came here to do mission accomplished. But I know that evangelism shouldn’t stop here. I’m looking forward to the days ahead as we prepare to go sightseeing.
