Evangelism with Mucho Ninos Already!

First off, we met an airport representative nearby yesterday to receive our missing bag! Answer to prayers! Claire G. kept the best and most positive attitude while she didn’t have her stuff. We are settling into our new home here. The team is sleeping in separate dorms with bunk beds in them. We have a large dining room with 2 long tables where we eat, share devos, and hang out. One table is ours and the other is used by the staff that live and work at this Honduran Teen Missions Base. Miss Audrey to organized the abundance of kitchen food items and so we now have a sense of peace as we cook. The insects and reptiles seems to be supersized here in the jungle and the variety of unfamiliar birds is astounding; nights are very noisy! Yesterday was golden: about 10 high schoolers and their teacher arranged a field trip to come to this base for the day (they’re in school here). Eagerly, our team performed dramas, gave 2 testimonies while being translated, sang songs a cappella, and even threw in a spontaneous rap on the end of “Rest on Us” which just has to go into our final presentation at Debrief! These teens are VERY gifted in singing and acting. Someone said of our team: “It’s not fair you guys can harmonize and sing like angels!” They capped off the evangelism day with a COMPETITIVE soccer match with mixed teams. Surely, they saw how much fun brothers and sisters in Christ can have together! Emotions ran high-ha! This opportunity to present the gospel in several different ways to Honduran teens in a secular school wasn’t common here, so we just Praise God and wonder at the seeds that we planted. Please pray for the many more evangelism opportunities we have today and coming up - could this be the only time some kids in Honduras will see and understand that Jesus came to earth to die for them so that they can live with God forever? Also pray for foot blisters to heal and strength for these days of working hard around the base. Mr. Robbie will go to town to buy project supplies tomorrow. Thank you for praying!

I love it here! I love and miss you guys. -Abby V

They call me “Espanol Professor.” I like it here. Kate T.

I love it here! I see the beauty and joy of the Lord in the children and country. It’s so encouraging to see how happy they are with so little. More than more! - Cassie W.

Honduras is great! The kids are sweet, the scenery is breathtaking, and Jesus is really working in my life in so many different ways. I’m just so grateful to be here! - T.J. S.

I love it here. All the people are so nice and the food is super good. I can really feel the Lord moving with the team and we’re ready to serve the Lord more :). Isaac H.

’m loving Honduras more than I thought. I’m enjoying the fellowship and being able to minister to other teens and children. I also love that I’m learning the language along the way. - Alyssa L.
