Eyeing the Wall: Mid-Boot Camp Report
Here we are half way through boot camp! The team is adjusting well to the weather; we've had our fair share of heat, sun, humidity, and the last few days heavy showers which bring a welcomed relief in temperatures. We've worked really hard on strategies for the O.C. (obstacle course) and hope to get everyone over the wall next week. What a blessing it was to hear the team share their enjoyment about serving on KP (kitchen prep) today. We had the opportunity to serve lunch and dinner to all of Boot Camp. The Peru team is FULL of helping hands, encouraging words, and heartfelt prayers. Please know dear family and friends your kids are lifting you up!
Mark T. I've really enjoyed hanging out with my team and praising God at the rallies.
Caedie C. I really like spending time with the team, these people are awesome! Also the slough is very refreshing! This memory verse has stood out to me throughout the week. John 4:35b "Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.”
David N. The O.C. is super lit, the team is great, and the food is awesome! Psalm 90:8 "You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
Ezra D. I haven't fallen in the slough yet and I jumped for the rope once! Everyone on our team is new to Teen Missions.
