Here we stand in our last few days in Peru. When the next report comes out, we should be back in Florida, but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. This last week has been filled with tidying up loose ends on the work projects, evangelism opportunities, sightseeing, and a meal we were blessed to share with a family from the church we visited on Sunday. Yesterday we visited Parque Natural de Pucallpa (a small local zoo), where our team handed out handmade gospel tracts. While exploring the zoo, we interacted with fellow visitors and were able to share the gospel with them. Our messages were well received, and the locals even enjoyed taking pictures with us. We made quite the scene with our height alongside the Peruvians! After the zoo, we enjoyed a delicious lunch with a family from the church where we presented this past Sunday. Great fellowship was had and full bellies all around! Today (Wednesday), we took a boat ride down the Yarinacocha River, where we saw pink river dolphins going about their day. We also stopped at a little village for souvenir shopping and enjoyed seeing a butterfly house, boa snake, sloth, monkey, and a toucan. After shopping, we took another ride down the river for lunch at a local restaurant. God’s timing is so perfect! We (leaders) didn’t have service on our phones to utilize Google Translate and must have looked quite overwhelmed trying to order food for our group when, out of nowhere, someone asked us in English if we needed help. Praise the Lord—yes, ma’am! She was able to help us get it all squared away, and we enjoyed some delicious platters of a variety of meats, salad, yucca frita, and camu camu to drink. Our next few days will be busy with a tour of a neighboring ministry, a bonfire with the youth from a church where we have presented, and a farewell gathering with that same congregation and the TMI Peru coordinator. It’s hard to believe our time in Peru is coming to a close.
Please pray for continued opportunities to share the gospel, that packing up and traveling would go well, and for health and continued spiritual growth among the team.

I’m going to miss this place a lot, especially the new friends I’ve made. Today we took a boat down a nearby river to a place where we could get our souvenirs. I had a lot to get, but I got everyone something I think they’ll like. I hope everything is well at home. I’ll see you soon
