Hola! Things have been going smoothly here in Peru since our last report. The team has been doing well and continuing to fight off lingering symptoms of sickness. We have been working hard around the school on various projects. The team has been finishing the roof on the boys’ dorm and continuing to use their carpentry skills to renovate the girls dorm by building a privacy fence and completely redoing the walls. Every evening after dinner, the team enjoys doing either Bible quizzing or guy/girl separate Bible studies, followed by a nightly group devotion time. At devotion time, a different team member will share what God has placed on their heart and spoken through daily Bible reading. It has been so encouraging to hear what each person is learning about. A highlight since the last report was getting to do one of our sightseeing outings at a waterfall called El Vello de la Novia (The Veil of the Bride). After a turbulent 4 hour bus ride through the mountains, we got to see the beautiful waterfall, which looked like a bride’s veil, and swim in the water, as well as purchase some souvenirs at the gift shop. Thank you so much for your prayers, they are so appreciated! Please continue to pray for health, as some people are trying to get over sicknesses, safety during work, and spiritual growth.
Coraline Y. Hi guys! I am having a very fun time here in Peru. Micah, Josiah L, Cash and I just finished building a privacy fence yesterday. It might not be the most beautiful fence ever to have been made but it was fun working on it and it’ll do the trick. We got to go to a cool waterfall today. It was a lot of driving but still it was fun. We got to swim a bit there, and it was really a pretty fun experience. I miss you guys a lot and I am excited to see you again soon!
Mark T Hi Family, I really enjoyed it here in Peru. Today, we got to go do some fun waterfalls. They were really pretty and we had a great time. I would really like prayer for unity. We’ve been able to do some evangelism and that was fun. We basically just passed out tracks at the mall. I miss you all and I’m excited to come home at the end of the month.
Andre P Hi Family! I’m having a great time in Peru. Today we drove 4 hours to a beautiful waterfall where we swam for a while in the river. I lost one of my crocs in the current though.
