Where are all the llamas?

Hello friends and family of the Peru team! Good times over here. We are flying through the work on our property. Lots of new memories, new friends, and new walls. Many hands make light work, and luckily we have a good deal of eager hands that want to work. This week we tore down two walls of the girls dorm house and then quickly replaced them with walls built by team members. We also built two different fences and completely finished the interior ceiling to go with the roof we replaced. They all look great. On Thursday we were invited by the staff here to a little ceremony to say goodbye to the high school students that live in the dorms here. They have been here the whole time we have but now are leaving for a two week holiday from school. So we all gathered and they presented each of our kids with a certificate of thanks with their names on them. Another cool thing we got to do this week was a Missions service at a local church. There was a mission team from Brazil there that led worship and the Peruvian kids did some skits and there were some missionaries from South Korea. We got to perform our presentation for all of them. And then at the end of the service someone from each country(Peru, Brazil, Korea, and USA) came up and prayed in their own language and it was just a really cool experience for everyone. Today we went back to that same church for a normal church service (plus some more Portuguese worship and also a Spanish testimony translated and given by Josiah L to the whole church) and then went out to eat after church at a delicious Peruvian steakhouse. So an eventful couple days for sure. Please pray that we are able to finish well in every way and that we accomplish everything that God wants us to here in Peru as our trip comes to an end. Time is flying by, and soon we will be too! (Unfortunately no llama sightings have been had as apparently they live more South, but we will keep our eyes open).

Josiah L - Hi everyone. I am still in Peru. I got to help Mr. John translate homemade gospel tracts into Spanish. Also today at the church I did my testimony in Spanish for everyone. My favorite thing to do in Peru is to quiz with everyone. I love quizzing. Quizzing is so cool. I am wearing my retainer don’t worry. I love being on KP. The waterfalls last Wednesday was my favorite day. I liked swimming in them. My favorite memory verse this summer is Romans 8:1-2.( I love quizzing.) Can’t wait to come home and see you. But can’t even more for the next quiz.

Caedie C - We finished another wall in the girls dorm and went out for lunch. The Fruta de Camu Camu juice was great. Listened to another sermon in Spanish - I don’t speak Spanish. Me and Mellisa have been practicing our jujitsu moves. Ella made me another bracelet after I begged her enough times. Practiced my verses with Miss Lupe and Josiah L. Excited for the zoo on Wednesday.
