Greetings family and friends!

Our team continues to enjoy our time here in Mexico serving the Boot Camp with open hands and open hearts. While we have experienced a lot of rain these last few days, we have also had some beautiful evening skies! What a joy for the teens to do the evening Rally praise dances under such beauty! The guys and girls have different dance moves and most of the teams go all in on participating. We all agree we should bring these songs and dances back to our home churches!

Monday all the leaders participated in sharing during social guys/girls panels for all the Boot Campers. That evening at Rally, Andrew shared a testimonial and Mrs. Angela gave the message on Isaiah 40 and how more fully understanding the greatness of God increases our confidence in Him and should also encourage us to choose to surrender our lives in Him in full, prompt obedience.

On Tuesday we had the fun project of cleaning the vinyl pool that we had originally used in the Slough. To make it more play and less work, we took it to the nearby creek. We also had cake with dinner to celebrate Mrs. Angela's birthday and Evan shared a testimonial at Rally.

Wednesday we have worked on a variety of projects. Fiona has an ongoing project cataloguing books for Teen Missions Mexico's library. Evan and Peyton have been helping build a partition wall. Benjamin, Micah and Cory have been prepping for some upcoming sharing times. Andrew and Mr. Joshua are rehearsing a juggling evangelistic skit. Lily has been involved in a couple of projects throughout the day as well.

As part of our ministry here, we seek out opportunities to bless and encourage the Mexican team members. One way we do this is to pray specifically for one of each of the four teams each day, and to cheer on the teams as they run the Obstacle Course each morning.

Our slower work schedule the last few days has allowed extra time for meaningful conversations about leadership, go-home prep, various Bible topics and some "Ask Anything" sessions with the leaders.

We all can't believe that our summer together is on the downswing - just barely over 2 weeks left. Please pray that we all stay focused and seeking God's will for each of us each day and that we will each truly return home changed.
Greetings from LDT in Mexico!
