Last Week In Mexico
We’ve officially entered our final week here in Mexico. On Monday, we began our new project, helping with the construction of a church building. The weather has been hot and humid, quite the contrast from our time in Guadalajara!
Unfortunately, Monday night into Tuesday brought a wave of a 24-hour stomach bug that hit many of us hard. It was a challenging day, but we’re grateful to say everyone is now on the mend and slowly returning to regular activities. Despite the sickness we were able to have team time together in the evening that really lifted everyone’s spirits.
We’re scheduled to continue working on the church building this Thursday. On Friday, we’ll have one last day for sightseeing before heading back to San Luis Potosí to catch our flight home Saturday morning.
