Greetings from Boot Camp: Team Malawi

Hello friends and family, greetings from The Lord's Boot Camp! This past week the team went through orientation and started their classes. The team has really been enjoying their music and clinical training classes. In music class we got the opportunity to learn a song in Chichewa which is the national language of Malawi. The team sounded beautiful, they are all very musically inclined! In clinic class they have been learning how to care for the people we will visit in Malawi. They even got the chance to practice giving Malaria tests with the Zambia team. It has been a blessing to see our team come together and be unified. They are fantastic at encouraging each other and love to cheer each other on especially when they run the Obstacle Course in the mornings. This upcoming week we start classes like Puppets, Drama and SSM (Sunday School Missions) training where they will continue to learn how to do their presentations for the field. The rest of the leaders and I are very excited to see how the Lord will keep moving in this team! Here are some ways you can be praying for our team... - For focus to be able to learn as much as possible from our next set of classes - The the Lord would continue to work through our team and the team members would really dig into God's Word.

During Boot Camp, Jesus has overhauled my faith. Many of the things I took for granted are missing or different and that space leaves a lot of room for Jesus. I realized that you really don't need AC or cool water to truly live, just the love of God. I'm excited to see what God will do next! Manaen C.

The Lord's been bringing a lot to my heart and mind that I need to confess, sort out, surrender and realize at Boot Camp so far. He has been showing me where I rely on my own strength instead of His and where I run to sin instead of Him. He is showing me new ways to worship and freeing me and helping me let go of myself. God has been showing up in beautiful ways to me through many people. I am so excited to walk inyto everything else God will do in and through me this summer. Evangelina D.
