Hello from beautiful Santa Cruz, Honduras!

Hello from beautiful Santa Cruz, Honduras!

Honduras PT is Rocking in Week 2!

Wow, time is flying by here in Honduras. The kids have been working hard in every aspect of the ministry as we've been here and they're truly getting to see the result of their efforts. The road to the base is really coming along well and they continually amaze us leaders with their heart, drive, and spirit as they pour concrete each and every day. They are also getting to see the fruit of their ministry through the presentations they put on for the schools nearby.

On Wednesday, the team took part in their final school presentation. They all got to ride in the back of the flat bed diesel truck and so that was a real exciting experience for them! The road was pretty bumpy so some of the kids excitement quickly turned to "are we there yet?". They had lots of fun on the way back from the school as they were singing "My Lighthouse" for the majority of the drive back to the Teen Missions base.

With the weekend fast approaching, we are excited to be able to continue our work project and, Lord willing, be able to go perform in a local park nearby. Sunday will be a church presentation and a lunch outing in town where the kids can get some good local Honduran cuisine.

Thank you all for your consistent prayer and for the support that you are giving from afar! We have been blessed with a very smooth trips with very few bumps in the way. We serve a caring and gracious God. Please keep lifting the team up and also give praise to God for everything He has already done here. You have not heard all the God stories/moments yet, but you will soon. Give praise in advance :) Here are some specific things that you guys can be praying for as we go into the weekend:

1. Safety during work, travel, and around the base in general.
2. A mentality that is based on others and not self
3. That God will be in the center of everything we do and say

Here are some words from some of the kids:

"The food here is amazing! It's the best here! The end." - Hosea B

"Honduras is beautiful. The staff are really nice. The food is great." - Alyssa K

"The weather is great and I have more privileges than Boot Camp." - Gavin P
