Hello from Merritt Island, Florida.
We are so excited to report that everyone arrived safe and sound with no delays. We got everyone moved into their tent site and settled in. It was a warm sunny day with some rain to cool down the afternoon. The teens are all excited to be here, renewing old relationships and forming new ones. They enjoyed some downtime in the afternoon while waiting for our last member to arrive. They had time to hang out and play some music and bond before dinner.
We are excited to see what God will do in the following days as we train and prepare for Boot Camp. Tomorrow will be the start of training for the Leadership team. We will participate in classes and orientation. The leaders are Seth and Emily Phippen (along with their four children: James (10), Lauren (9), Emma (6), and Sadie (3)), Angela Hines, with daughter, Eliana (9), and Joshua Hines (Angela's son). We as leaders are very excited to walk through this summer with our team members.
Please pray for God's hand to be upon this team and we each would grow to love Him more.
