Hello from the Germany team!

We are in Nuremberg! The whole team is so happy to finally be here. We reached the YWAM site in Nuremberg around 3PM on Tuesday and hit the ground running. Well ok more like crashing. But we were all trying our best. Our Missionary host Patchi met our bus outside the YWAM building and greeted the whole team with energy and a huge smile. She took us inside and let the team members into their rooms so they could crash for a few minutes. Then she gave the leaders an overview of the plan and the housing and how things were going to work. Then she took Emily and Megan to go shopping for food for the next day.

The YWAM staff provided a great dinner for us and then Patchi met with the whole team and gave them an orientation and overview of her life and testimony and time with YWAM. Then she shared the rules and policies of YWAM Nuremberg. The team worked hard to stay awake although everyone was so tired. Patchi did a good job of keeping our attention and had us standing up and singing songs as she shared with us!

Today was a full day. We didn't waste any time and jumped right in. We got up and had breakfast and devotions and then joined the YWAM staff for a time of prayer and seeking God. After that we started work painting the interior of one of the main spaces for YWAM called "The Space". This is an area that local churches and ministries use for outreach. It is the front part of their building and it is right on a main street that leads to the train station. The team worked hard all day only stopping for Lunch, Library reading(Reading missionary biographies), and a team Bible study on Matthew 5. Before dinner we cleaned up and after dinner we got into our GG classes and team time. After that everyone was ready for bed! It was pretty rainy and cool all day.

We go to bed with a hard day of ministry behind us, joy in our hearts and love for each other. We are excited for what tomorrow holds.

Jack W. - "Everything mechanically is perfect. They have thick walls and the air is cold."

Arianna F. - "I was moved to the Germany team last week. Over the week I have connected with the team. We are now in Germany and having a lot of fun."

God bless
