Hey friends and family of Italy LDT!!

Our team is doing great so far! Since the kids' arrival on Tuesday, we've really been unifying as a team and growing together. It's always fun to have a bit of a smaller team, there's only 9 team members, so this gives them time to get to know one another well. We as leaders have been doing our best to lean into develop them as leaders, and also cast a vision for the team. We've asked them, "what is your hope for what the Lord will do in and through us this summer?". Last night, we discussed a song that the team chose for our music presentations called "Rest On Us". This song has become a prayer, that the Holy Spirit may come and rest on us! Please be praying for this with us as well.
Overall, the team has been leaning into their classes! Yesterday afternoon they start their work project. We worked on getting duffle bags with some essentials together for every team member and leader! This is a big job, but they were able to complete half of it yesterday. They will continue working on it today.

In our free times we've been enjoying fellowship and games. The team has enjoyed several rounds of hacky sack and also a game called "signs". We're really loving our time together! With it being Friday we're close to finishing up our training time! Tomorrow is our last official training day. Sunday we'll enjoy a church service and getting cleaned up and packed before moving to dorms and having a Commissioning Service for our team. We're so thankful for this team! Thank you parents for entrusting them each to us and to the Lord!

Wesley S "LDT Boot Camp is going very well. Our team has bonded together very well, especially through playing hacky sack and prayer. I'm excited to meet the other teams on Monday and Tuesday!"

Micah L "Thank God for these first few days of Teen Missions! God has given me a big tent to myself, and He's been teaching me so much. I love Ms. Shelly's class which is all about leadership, and also Mr. Robbie's class. Yesterday, Mr. Robbie had Wesley and I bike to a random person on property and give them a gift. We also p[rayed a blessing over them. Praise the Lord!"
