Hey! We made it!
Sunday, June 28, 2026 we left the Lords Boot Campand headed to the airport for our 9 hour red-eye flight to Paris, France. After traveling through time (aka time change), we landed mid afternoon with only an hour and 50 minutes to make our way through the airport, another security check, and customs. With the help of Air France employees escorting us, we were praying and hoping to make our flight but it looked bleak. To ease your suspension— we didn’t make it… But! Praise the Lord for Air France and their understanding and accommodations! The set us up in a hotel with food vouchers for dinner and breakfast the next morning and rebooked our flight for the following day. We were so incredibly blessed and we can testify of a Good, Heavenly Father that takes care of His children!! So, after a night in Paris (which is so cool to be able to say), we got on our quick two hour flight north to Sweden. It was smooth sailing as all of our bags arrived with us and we met up with our host missionaries to take us to the YWAM Restenäs base. (YWAM is an organization meaning Youth With A Mission.) We arrived yesterday (Tuesday) in the late afternoon, so we unpacked, did a quick load of laundry, enjoyed the property, and headed to dinner. It’s been such an incredible experience so far and we are looking forward to what God has for us here in Sweden! Today (Wednesday) we started our Bible Study, got a tour, started work, and are enjoying our time as a team! Today’s projects have been simple with some gardening but tomorrow they’ll start painting one of the YWAM buildings and looking ahead to more projects. You can continue to pray for: - Continued health overall and safety during work. - The team’s adjustments to life here in Sweden. - The work of the Spirit as He shapes and grows us during this summer.
Lizzy: “Hey y’all! We arrived in Sweden safely after a few hiccups! We started work today with some little projects like weeding, paint prep, and some other things. The weather has been so nice and I am really enjoying being here! Miss you and love you mom and dad!”
Ransom: “The food has been so good and I’m looking forward to the roofing project we will get to do as a team. This mornings devotion was powerful because we learned reading Psalms 1 that we aren’t to associate with the ways of the world and to be set apart.”
