Ola from a hard working Honduras Preteen Team!

Ola from a hard working Honduras Preteen Team!

The team has been going strong straight into their first work week. They've been pouring concrete each and everyday for the road that leads up to the base and are gaining major muscles while they do it! Hosea Blair said in today's work session, "we're gonna be jacked by the end of this summer". Folks, he's not wrong. The kids have been hauling wheelbarrows of sand, stone, gravel, and concrete up and down the inclined road in a very impressive manner. Their heart for the work is contagious and they're growing each and every day in their character as they go on. As leaders, we've seen God really unify this team in ways that only He can. They step up for each other when they see a friend in need and it's awesome to see.

Our group of young people also have had the opportunity to share at multiple schools using their songs, dramas, puppet songs, and testimonies by Rivers Edalgo & Jae Perez. They have around 7 showings total here in Honduras with the next one being tomorrow. The outings of evangelism have been filled with joy as they fellowship with the local community.

We are looking forward to the weekend as we prepare to go present at a church near by. As I am writing this, Mr. Daniel Chicas and the team are working on perfecting some aspects of the presentations and also implementing some new groups for the drama "Colors". It's fun to hear the kids take initiative and give some encouraging critiques at such a young age. God is truly working in every aspect of the day and it's an honor for me as a leader to be a part of it first hand.

Well, that's all for now. I gotta run and go help Mr. Daniel with the team while our awesome lady leaders are making supper!

We wanna say thank you for all the prayers and support that you guys are giving. Keep it coming! We need it. You guys are with us in this. Here are some things you guys can pray for specifically as we head into this weekend:
1. Quality growth in our personal relationships with Christ
2, Good rest at night so we can be refereshed for the next days work
3. Unity as a team in everything we do

Here are some words from some of the kids:

"I know I've been growing in my Faith in Bible study and in GG's. It's been hard but at the same time it's been fun. I love it here." - Ellie O

"Honduras has been very fun so far. The past two mornings we have been performing at schools and making concrete. I have so many friends here and it is just as fun as last time." - Sebastian P

"Boot camp has done so much for me. I know I feel closer to God. It made my life so much nicer." - Sarah M

We love and miss you, family and friends!
