One Week Down: Team Zambia Finds Its Rhythm

It's hard to believe that our first week of Boot Camp is over. Team Zambia is doing great! It has been a joy to see the team come together and bond so quickly. They are very kind and encouraging to one another. They have worked hard to improve on their obstacle course (OC) accomplishments as well as Bro Pig. On Saturday's run of the OC, there were no DQ's, which is when you are disqualified if you break a safety rule for a particular obstacle. And, the team won Bro Pig (cleanest team) two days in a row! Tonight, we're all excited for pizza and milkshakes for supper. This week, our team specific training classes have been music, advanced evangelism, and eyeglass/medical clinic. We even had the opportunity to practice administering malaria tests to one another. If you watch the rallies at night, that's where the joint Zambia/Malawi cheer came from that said "Don't stick yourself, don't stick your neighbor, but stick to Jesus". Zambia and Malawi are the two medical teams, so we have several of our classes together. It has been hot, but thankfully we have not had too many rain storms to contend with. Please pray for a cool breeze and continued growth in unity as we approach our time to serve in Zambia.

The Lord's Boot Camp has been very impactful throughout this week! I have been learning tons through the AMAZING classes covering a variety of awesome topics! The Lord has been teaching me to be more cheerful in all circumstances and to love people more fully at all times! - Ruth M.

Hey fam, love you all. I've had so many opportunities already to learn from all the wonderful people here. I hope to learn a lot about missions work so that I can hopefully become a great evangelist so I can share the Gospel with every one I meet. Love you all, see you soon. - Hope T.

Boot Camp has been very good so far. The classes have been rich in info, food very tasty, and the OC has been so fun. Our leaders care and the team has been getting along very well. Total 9/10 rating! - Levi S.

Hi everyone! I love and miss you all! Boot camp has been great so far. I've been learning a lot about how to share Jesus and how to help the people we will encounter in Zambia. I'm so excited to get going there! - Piper M.
