Hi everyone! Greetings from the Malawi team! Since our last report our team’s schedule has been so full! From clinics, trips to Lilongwe, celebrations and even sunrise Jesus time! Let me tell you all about it! On Sunday (7/12) evening, our team had the privilege to experience the way the TMI Malawi base celebrates their country’s independence. We started the program with around 20 minutes of dancing! Then we had an incredible meal of rice, the local Sema, goat and chicken, prepared by the staff! Both team members and leaders loved this taste of Malawi. After enjoying the meal, we continued to chat with the staff and students about the school and upcoming bootcamp! Then we went back to dancing! After this the staff gave awards to their students for multiple categories like, hardest working, best in the kitchen, best class behavior and even best water pumpers! The entire team enjoyed this part because we were able to see the love and kindness that the students have for each other. Even if they weren’t the ones receiving awards, they would all dance and cheer and sing with each other. This really spoke to all of our hearts and encouraged us to do the same in our own team. On Monday (7/13) the team started clinics in a nearby village called Melissa. They continued with their eyeglass and medical stations as well as lots of prayer. Miss Emma and Miss Lauren stayed at the Chipoka base and took care of the few sick people and prepared a yummy lunch of chicken salad wraps, that they drove to the rest of the team! While Mr Evan, Mr Jahswel and Miss Candice assisted in the clinic stations. Tuesday (7/14) consisted of another clinic at Melissa and Miss Emma and Grace M. made a trip to Lilongwe. Their return brought a truck load of much needed groceries!! We are SO thankful for our host missionary who has been driving us to get groceries and medicine for the clinics!! Today (7/15) the team woke up extra early to watch the sunrise over Lake Malawi while they did their Bible study and devotions. Mr Evan and Mr Jahswel led them in their Bible study time while they dipped their feet in! Everyone was thrilled and enjoyed this a lot! The sunrises are extra special here and we are all so excited to see them every morning. We love seeing Gods creation up close and personal! The team held their last clinic at Melissa today while Miss Emma, Miss Lauren and myself (Miss Cory) stayed at the Chipoka base to prepare food and take care of the few sick team members. Tonight we are enjoying some yummy creamy potato soup prepared by Miss Emma and the KP’s Justice T. and Jada P. The team is also getting to try sugar cane!! Tomorrow the team is hopeful to provide another clinic for the staff and students here in Chipoka and take a much needed rest. Next week we hope to travel to the House of Joel, another small village nearby, where we can do more clinics for the people and shine Christs light! We are so thankful for everything God is doing in and through us during our time here!

Hi Guys! This morning was one of the best mornings that we’ve had so far! The sunrise over the lake was so beautiful. Our clinics have all gone really well. Today I was half medical and half prayer team. We had a lady who came and said that she came so that we would pray for her. So I did and even though she couldn’t understand me when I said amen she had tears in her eyes and a big smile. It was an awesome experience. I love you mom and dad! And shout out to my grandpa and my Oma and Opa who are amazing! Genesis K.
Hey Everyone! I have been having so much fun in Malawi and learning lots! The Lord has been doing amazing things at all the clinics too! I got a jar of peanut butter from the store in Salima and it’s really tasty. Malawi has my heart, the joy of the Lord is so evident in everyone’s life, especially during worship. Recently I have been learning to lean in the Lord every hour of each day and humbly calling out to Him in prayer. Love you and miss you all so much. Thinking about you! Addi V.
Hey y’all! Greetings from Chipoka! It’s has been such a blessing to be on this team and watch all of the team members grow. I have been enjoying preparing food for the team with my fellow lady leaders and the KP of the day. This morning we made some yummy pancakes, they put a smile on everyone’s face! I really enjoy getting to hangout with the KP each day and learn about their lives and all their favorite things. I can’t wait to see what the next couple weeks has in store for our team!
