Yayy!! The Peru team walked right out of commissioning and onto the bus and travelled for the next two days straight. Two bus rides, four plane rides, two nights on the airport floor, one very big frog, and lots of laughs later, we rolled onto the Refuge of Hope base. We got a tour and lots of stories from Pastor Victor who started this program here 40 years ago. The day has consisted of setting up the kitchen and tents, lots of basketball and soccer, and even more presentation practice. Everyone is very tired but being good sports about everything coming together slowly.

John T - The Lord has shown himself faithful once again, praise the Lord! We have made it safely to Peru with all of our luggage. As leaders, during all the work that comes with traveling, (especially with 38 bags weighing 50 pounds each) we were able to observe the team work and unity in action which Boot Camp helped to bring about. God is working and I am excited for what He has in store! We are strengthened by the grace that is in Jesus Christ.

Samara T - You can always get to know a team a lot during travel. And this year was no different. I loved seeing this team work together and be together and travel to Peru together!! It makes me very excited for this next month and getting to see them become even more of a team and getting to know them more. Yayyy
