We Made It!

After two long days of travel and very short layovers, team Zambia has arrived! We were happy to find that all but one of our bags made it with us through all of the layovers. Upon our arrival to the base, we unloaded our bags and enjoyed a delicious meal prepared for us by the base coordinator’s wife, Mrs. Chama. It felt like a Zambian feast after our airplane meals! Everyone was excited for an early bedtime and a good night’s rest. This morning, we were able to share the Bemba song we learned and a testimony in chapel with the Zambian staff and students. Then, a few of our leaders went to town to purchase our clinic supplies. The rest of us have enjoyed a day here on the base. It’s so beautiful and the weather is much cooler! We plan to set out early tomorrow (Friday) for our remote location to set up our tents and prepare for clinics to begin.

We made it. After a long night sleeping in the airport and four flights, we made it to Zambia. After a good night’s sleep we had our first presentation and you can really hear God whisper here. The difference between the landscape and the people really shows God’s craftsmanship. - Ben P.

Hey y’all! We survived the Lord’s boot camp and made it to Zambia! This morning we went to chapel with everyone on base and it was beautiful to be a part of their worship. Tomorrow we head out to start clinics and I can’t wait to see how the Lord uses our team to minister to the people’s needs here. - Rebekah H.

Hey everyone! We landed in Zambia yesterday and it’s super pretty here. We were able to attend their chapel at the base this morning and did our presentation for the BMW students. Everyone seems very nice and I’m excited to start doing the clinics and see more of Zambia! - Maddie S.

We’ve officially finished our training and made it to Zambia. I’d never been on a plane before this trip but it’s such a blessing to be sat next to someone during a flight. I got to talk to a few people and tell them about Jesus. Even though it was a bit nerve racking, I can’t wait to continue sharing the Gospel with the people of Zambia. - Hope T.
