All of the Fiji team members have arrived and settled in!
On Orientation Day, our team learned all of the policies and had a mini introduction to some of the classes they can expect to have. They got to stretch their limbs though because they ran their first OC (Obstacle Course). We have a lot to learn about the obstacles, but I am proud of our team for getting a total of 10 people over the Wall at the end!
Today is the kickoff of our training classes. The day started with running the OC at 6:06 am and we got a total of 12 people over the Wall! So far, we have attended blocklaying and carpentry. Our team has been very respectful and attentive to their teachers. They seem to be picking up the skills quickly and helping each other out when needed. We will begin some evangelism classes in the afternoon.
We won the Clean Award last night, which means that we will get ice cream with our supper tonight! Everyone is eagerly anticipating a cold treat—being clean pays off! We hope those habits continue, and maybe we can win the Clean Award several times during our time at Boot Camp! Until next time!
