Good morning from Boot Camp!

Good morning from Boot Camp!

Team Tanzania is doing well. Today is Anna P's birthday. We got to sing Happy Birthday to her this morning and will do something special once we leave Boot Camp. This morning we started our Sunday by attending a special service out at the back lake that we call the Galilean Service. Our musician and speaker lead us from a boat on the lake while the teams gathered around the lake. It was a beautiful morning and an amazing service with the challenge to use the opportunities we are being given here to prepare us to "GO"! It was a good challenge to make sure we get the most out of our classes and be ready for what the Lord is teaching us.

Today we are spending some time changing tent partners. This gives everyone a chance to tidy up their space and start getting organized for travel overseas. We are also blessed to be able to attend the Missions Conference that will be presented today. We will get to hear specifically from HEART Ministries and YWAM Orlando, and then eat lunch with a representative from Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania. In the afternoon the team will have the opportunity to visit with individual ministries that are here and might be interested in learning about. After the Missions Conference we have our traditional Pizza and Milkshake night which is always a fun time!

Our team spent three days in block-laying class last week and I think this is their favorite so far. The leaders said they did a great job! In Music Class, we have found the team members' musical abilities are amazing and when we put the 19 of them together, they sound like they have been singing together for years. We will be spending some time this upcoming week preparing our first 30-minute presentation and sharing it in front of another team for feedback. I am so excited to see how well they work together and encourage one another in all that they are doing. The Obstacle Course has been going well and they improve each day. We have five more days to run it before we leave!!

Please continue to pray for the team to be safe and encouraging to one another. They are a delight and keep us all smiling each day. We would also love prayer for a couple of dry days before we leave so that our clothes can dry out. Thanks again for sending your children to be a part of this team. God is weaving their hearts together and we already feel like a family!
