Hello from team Bolivia!
We arrived in Santa Cruz last night around 10 PM. After a long and tiring journey at immigration we finally made it back to Montero around 2 AM. The kids quickly got settled in and went to sleep. Overall, travel went very well. We made all our flights with no problems, and each of our 48 bags made it too! Praise the Lord!
Today has been a great day! The kids have had time to get settled, help set up our housing and kitchen areas. They also had time to catch up on verses and do their reviews with Mr. Eli.
Our missionaries, Ferny and Aidee are so amazing! They really gave us a warm welcome and have been so helpful while we have gotten set up. They have quite literally welcomed us into their home and kitchen. What a blessing.
As we write this, the kids are getting their first Bolivian shower! We can hear loud proclamations of, “man, that’s cold!”. But refreshing, nonetheless. Earlier, they also had time to get their laundry all cleaned up!
Tomorrow morning the team plans to head out to the work site to look at what needs to be done and to start working on clearing land. More info on the work project to come soon!
The weather here has been nice and mild. Still somewhat warm, but not as hot and humid as Florida. Last night got a little cool breeze which was nice!
Here’s some messages from the team! Enjoy!
