Hola from Team Bolivia!
Hi to all of our parents, friends, and family. It's so fun to be sitting down to write this to you all.
Today (Thursday) is our first official day of training here at the Lord's Boot Camp! Our Arrival Day and Orientation Day went incredibly well. On Arrival Day we had all 19 kids arrive before dinner which was a huge blessing! Registration went so well and was a smooth process. Yesterday was Orientation and the kids did well learning and absorbing all the needed information. What a blessing.
Each of them seems to be meshing so well together and the leadership is so encouraged to see them talk with one another.
On our team, we have five leaders (two head leaders, and three wonderful backup leaders) and 19 team members (12 girls and 7 boys)! They all bring something to the table and it's so fun to see all their personalities come out more and more each day! You all have raised some awesome kids. Thanks for entrusting them to us!
As I said, today is their first day of training. Up on the schedule today is two hours of block laying and two hours of carpentry. They seem pumped to begin this training, especially since it will be so useful for their work project in Bolivia.
So far the team seems to really enjoy Rally time together, especially worship in music. We love to see them pouring their hearts out to the Lord and really surrendering their hearts to Him.
Overall, it has been a pretty wet camp so far ????. However, the kid's tents are staying dry and we are rejoicing! They seem to be taking all the rain well, but have been praying for it to stop soon!
Today was their first official run on the OC (Obstacle Course) and they did amazing. They got 15 over the Wall! They really unified together to run it and made us proud.
