The team members finally arrived on Tuesday!

The team members finally arrived on Tuesday!

We have been praying for them for weeks, so it was great to finally meet them in person. We are thankful for the unique personalities and strengths that each one of them brings to the team.

Almost half of the team arrived at Boot Camp in the middle of the night. They were a little tired the first day but felt much better after a good night's sleep (even if I was in a tent). This morning, we even got to wake up to the sound of a rocket launch!

It has been very rainy, so things are pretty muddy. Fortunately, our tents are (mostly) dry. The team, however, is in good spirits. They have been enjoying getting to know each other and learning to work together as a team. The team has run the Obstacle Course twice. They worked together well and got most of the team over the Wall!

Our classes started this morning. So far, we have had carpentry, concrete- mixing, and Bible classes. Throughout the next few days, we will be learning lots of other skills for the mission field.

Please keep the team in prayer as we prepare for Australia!

Team Member Testimonies:

"Upon arriving at Boot Camp, I've learned so much about teamwork, camping, hard work, and mostly about the missionary burden which we will be carrying. My favorite part is the Obstacle Course and worship class.
John D.

"The Lord's Boot Camp has been such a great experience for me personally. From the godly influence to the amazing people it has made me feel so prepared for what God has for me and my team in Australia."
Bethany W.

"When I first got to Boot Camp, I knew it was a place of God. I've learned so much in just the few days I've been here. I've learned that everything has a purpose and to always empty my duffle bag (offering everything to God). The Obstacle Course is really fun but the Wall is our biggest struggle. I will have so much fun in Australia."
Jonas F.

"Everything is going great. I'm friends with everyone on the team. The food is really good, but it's not what I expected. Love you!"
