We’ve been very blessed to have a few relaxing days of sightseeing! The team enjoyed staying at a Game Reserve Lodge. We were able to do two safaris. The kids and leaders enjoyed seeing impala, elephants, rhinos, crocodiles, wildebeests, mongooses, lions, and warthogs.

The lodge had nice rooms and wonderful meals for the team. It was a lovely time of relaxation and enjoying God’s creation.

The team finished the work project well. At the end of the trip the team completed painting 12 rooms, they put together 15 bunk beds, they dug a 6 ft deep latrine, they patched the roof of the dormitories, among other odds and ends. We are so proud of them!

The team has mixed feeling as they pack their bags to go home. The team leaves for the airport Friday afternoon. They’re excited to be heading home, but also sad that they’re leaving their friends and work here. I know it will be bitter sweet good byes tomorrow.
