Greetings from the Lord's Boot Camp!

Greetings from the Lord's Boot Camp!

Greetings from the Lord's Boot Camp!Over the last couple days, there has been a vast improvement in our teamwork! The kids are encouraging one another and working together to improve on the Obstacle Course each day. The kids have been taking block-laying, concrete, digging, and steel tying classes in the morning. Our work in Idaho may not include these skills, but the kids are having fun learning, and they are very hard workers. In the afternoon we have free time as well as bath and laundry time. On Monday we used our free time to train them on cleaning their tents as we came in last for cleanliness on Sunday. Because of their diligence, on Tuesday night, we came in first place! They even check one another's tents in the morning to make sure that everything is ready to go for the day. In the afternoons, we work on music class and drama. Your kids love to sing and they understand the importance of these classes, as we will use them often on the field. In the evenings, they enjoy working on their memory verses and getting to know one another better before our evening rally. On Monday night, one of the assistant leaders challenged all the kids who had not completed a memory verse yet to try and get their first one complete! The kids rose to meet the challenge, and every one of them is now on the board and some even got ahead of schedule!
