Hello from Zambia

Hello from Zambia

Hello from Zambia. We are working on two buildings here in Ndola and the team is making great progress. The footer on the ablution block is already down to our shoulders in most places. On Sat evening the team enjoyed some group games for fun night. Even though we couldn’t leave the base on Sunday we were able to do our own small service and it gave us a chance to work on our team presentation. We caught up on versus on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed quizzing with quite a few getting their first quiz-
out!
Here is some reports from the team:

Deonte C. “Ndola is great! I am enjoying the cold of the morning and the heat of the afternoon. The work is great. I really enjoy learning about the soil of Zambia. The people here sing so good it is breath taking.
Fanchesca M. “ today is the Fourth of July and I am reminded of home and what my family is doing on this special holiday all the way over in America. Amongst the homesick feelings I was reminded of my family of brothers and sisters in Christ surrounding me. Because of them every day of this week has been filled with laughter and an attitude of perseverance and hard work as we start off the first week of our work project. The Teen Missions base we’re staying at here and Zambia is a nice change of setting from camping at Boot Camp one of the reasons is, we have running water and bunkbeds! I was able to take a shower yesterday without a bucket! The weather is perfect and the people here are all so kind and welcoming. Today we had our first practice quiz off, and I’m excited to see how much we progress as a team for debrief.
Psalm 90:17
“ and let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.“
