HOLA from team Costa Rica!

HOLA from team Costa Rica!

All of our team members have officially arrived at the Lord's Boot Camp and are settled into their tents! We learned very quickly to apply our bug spray before entering our tent site. We like to joke about how much blood we are donating to Teen Missions. We even had a prayer request from Aiden D. that God could make the mosquitos vegan...

Today was the first day of classes and so far we have had concrete, digging, drama, and advanced EV. We will be cleaning the bathrooms this afternoon and then enjoy swimming in the pool! So far, our team has run the Obstacle Course twice, and they are quickly learning to work together as a team and encourage one another.

In the evenings, we gather in a circle and share our low points and high points of the day. A consistent and common high point has been "meeting each other." Friendships are quickly forming and our team seems to be bonding well. Our team callback is "PURA VIDA," which is a common saying in Costa Rica. I think it is the perfect call back for our team, as they are energetic and full of life! I am excited to see how the Lord works in them and through them!

From the team:
Sam P.- Hi Mom and Dad. It has been raining a lot here, but it is fun. I haven't fallen into the Slough yet! Love and miss you!

Aiden D.- Hi Mom and Dad! I have had good times so far and have not been given any SBs! I also haven't fallen in the Slough and have made it to the all. Miss you! Bye Bye!

Sadie P.- So glad to be at Boot Camp again this summer! I have the best leaders and amazing tent-mates and an awesome team. Love you family! God bless all of the people praying for the people on our team!
