Laying a Solid Foundation

Laying a Solid Foundation

Hello from team Zambia!
We have been making great progress on the work site. We are digging a foundation and will be able to pour concrete after the inspector comes. We were able to make a small team store so they can buy snacks and other things. We are excited to get to know the staff. About a week ago the team got to go on a tour of the base and were able to see the boot camp they run here in Zambia. They really enjoyed getting to see the OC (obstacle course) and the eating sites they made for the teams. We enjoyed our second bonfire for evening devotions courtesy of “Joseph”‘s expertise with assistance from Matt Moore. Last night’s worship was awesome. Grace has been leading with uke, Lacey with the flute and voice… Issac with voice, and many nights Asher helps on guitar.
Here are some “weather reports” from the team.
Josiah W. “Hi all. I am getting to use my pickaxe skills acquired from home to dig the foundations of the building we are assembling. It has been an interesting run but, I am thankful I was able to make it to Africa. Today I am on KP.”
(KP is the kitchen helpers for the day)
Jenna L. “Our work project is finally moving along the digging stage and soon you’ll be able to see a building. Every day we wake up to a beautiful sunrise and every night we go to bed to amazing stars. Don’t even get me started on the BMW students singing. It leaves me speechless. Needless to say, the days are good, the team is great, and God is greater.”
(BMW is the Bible Missionary & Work college that Teen Missions runs throughout the world)
