This is our first official report since arriving to Honduras on Monday

This is our first official report since arriving to Honduras on Monday

We are currently en route to La Mosquitia, and we finally have a signal to send an update.

We arrived in Honduras around lunch time Monday. We praise the Lord that they let us through customs without any issues. It took a while for all 31 of us to get our passports stamped, but after everything was finished, we were able to leave with all 58 bags accounted for. We then got lunch in town at Burger King. We had an almost two hour bus drive to the Teen Missions Santa Cruz base, where we were greeted by the Preteen team that just arrived the night before. They also had a nice supper waiting for us.

Everyone is doing well. Yesterday we started the day a little later than normal to catch up on much needed rest. We spent time in personal devotions, Bible verse reviews and library time. The head leaders were able to go to town to pick up food supplies for our time in La Mosquitia, then later we ended the day with our first team member led group devotion. Jess D. did an amazing job sharing her testimony before closing in our group singing a couple worship songs.

So now we’re on our way to our main project site. Please continue praying for us. We will travel about 14 hours today by bus, pick-up trucks then finally on boat before we arrive to La Mosquitia. We are all excited about what the Lord has for us there. We will update again later this week with some team members sharing. Thank you for praying for us!
