Hello From Iceland!!
Over the weekend this team also met a woman who was visiting whose name was Laura and it turns out that she came to Iceland on a teen missions team in 1996. The kids were absolutely thrilled to have been able to meet her and have a short conversation with her.
Thursday we are very excited to be doing our sightseeing day and shopping. We will be taking a bus to Reykjavik and spending the afternoon there. Though time is going by very quickly with Kotmot coming up the team will be very very busy with preparations, please pray for energy and diligence among each and everyone of these teens as well as the leadership. We are very very excited to see how God uses us during this conference
This is my testimony about my experience in Iceland. First off, everything is different from Florida. Leaving the heat and bugs and then going to cool. Fresh air with the mountains and the fields has definitely been a huge change, but the relationships that have been forming throughout the team since bootcamp first started. I have been getting closer to those who I wouldn't have even thought of and that has been a huge blessing. That's one of the things where I have felt God. I have seen pictures of Iceland but to actually be here and see it in person I've noticed the beauty of God's creation, even in the little things. And it just makes me have a peace that I've never felt before. I have seen the Lord through creation and my teammate and I am looking forward to the rest of the summer.- Aliyah T.
While in Iceland, our team has grown closer. I know that I have made life long friends here. We get to work with beautiful and peaceful encouragement. We have also grown spiritually as we serve the The Lord and make an impact. - Lauren M.
